JUPITER, FL – Intense, man-on-man competition was the scene on Monday, Feb. 15th at
 Ocean Magic Surf Shop as contestants battled it out in the Quiksilver Kelly Slater Pro Surfer
Video Surf Contest sponsored by Quiksilver and Channel Islands Surfboards. The participants
spent the afternoon “surfing” famous spots such as Sebastian Inlet, Trestles and Curren Point
with one goal in mind: to take home top prize – Over $125 in Quiksilver and Channel Islands
product. Other great prizes included Quiksilver backpacks, Channel Island clothing and more!
The final heat came down to two contestants, Parker Greenwood and Max Mertens. The pair
where neck and neck for the 1st minute, but Parker pulled away and never looked back!!
Billy Decarlo and Emery Kopelchek took third and fourth place. Everyone that entered, win or lose,
walked away stoked on the contest and are looking forward to the next one.
